Description

Dehlvi Talbina is a good source of insoluble and soluble dietary fiber. The soluble fiber portion contains the richest source of beta-glucans compared to any other grain; these can aid immune function. Dehlvi Talbina also contains B vitamins, iron, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, and copper, and is one of the richest sources of chromium, which is important in maintaining blood glucose levels. Dehlvi Talbina is also rich in antioxidants. Dehlvi Talbina is the only Talbina in India that has been treated by irradiation which helps extend shelf life and also improves quality and safety.

Talbina is useful in convalescence and increases immunity in the body. Also useful in diseases of the heart and high cholesterol. Useful in constipation and beneficial for lactating ladies or pregnant ladies as well as infants. Strengthens the digestive system of infants.

Ingredient:
Each g contains:

  • Hordeum vulgare Fr. Pdr (Jao) 1 g
  • Flavour q.s.

Dosage:
Heat 1 cup water or milk and add 2 Tablespoon (30 g) Dehlvi Talbina. Cook for about 20 minutes. Constantly stir to avoid lumpiness. Stirring regularly top up with milk to make 200 ml. Add Dehlvi Multiflora Honey, raw sugar or jaggery if not diabetic. For better results and taste, add dry fruits and/or fresh fruits. Close lid tightly after use.
